I have been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 2003. I also have licenses to practice law in the States of New Jersey and Florida.
I am the founding member of The Law Office of Jason Tenenbaum, P.C. We are a growing firm, and specialize in, among other areas of law, no-fault defense.
Prior to starting this firm, I was the managing attorney for the Law Office of Picciano & Scahill, P.C., from 2006 through 2010. I also was employed as an associate attorney at the law office of Carman Callahan & Ingham, LLP and the law office of Serpe, Andree & Kaufman.
I have extensive litigation experience and have successfully defended cases in both State and Federal Court. I have tried No-Fault defense cases, property damage cases, property subrogation matters, landlord-tenant cases, criminal defense cases, and premises liability matters to conclusion. I have perfected appeals to the Appellate Terms and Appellate Divisions of the State of New York. I also appealed a case to a County Court in the Fourth Department.
I published two articles, copies of which are under the “My Publications” tab, immediately to the right.
I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1998 and obtained my Juris Doctor from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2002. At the Syracuse University College of Law, I was the managing editor of “The Digest”, a journal that was published yearly in conjunction with the National Italian American Bar Association. I was president of the Jewish Law Student Association.
